University of Miami stem cells are going to cure paralysis in Saudi Arabia.

That is the general plan announced in a watershed collaboration between the University of Miami and the Sultan bin Abdulaziz Humanitarian City (SAHC).

The Arab News reports that the collaboration was announced today at the International Spinal Cord Injury Conference 2014.

The SAHC is “a 400-bed Rehabilitation Hospital and Medical Center” located near Riyadh inthe Banban area of Saudi Arabia.

The Miami Project To Cure Paralysis is the first organization in the United States to receive a Federal go-ahead to conduct Stem Cell Therapy treatments.
