In further proof that South Florida is truly a globally relevant tech region, Microsoft will open their first U.S. Innovation Center in the Magic City beginning in June 2014.
There are many of these centers around the world, but the first American outpost will be based in Downtown Miami’s Venture Hive, a high impact tech incubator housing a slew of Latin-American startups on the rise to global superstardom.
Critics of Miami’s ability to compete with Silicon Valley abound, but the truth is that as Miami continues to harness the power of the global economy, our strategic geographic reality will allow us to directly compete with, overtake, and lure brains and dollars away from California for total worldwide domination in multiple market segments.
So, we here at Pacific 54 say: “Welcome to Miami Microsoft! We look forward to seeing you around.”
