The internationally renown Life in Color music festival celebrated their 10th anniversary Saturday with their most anticipated show to date. The show featured LiC veterans Diplo, and Carnage as well as headliners Marshmello, Desiigner, and Young Thug. Life in Color has experienced serious growth since its early days of small-scale paint parties in Tallahassee nightclubs, circa 2006. LiC is now humbly known as “The World’s Largest Paint Party," expanding its scope far beyond Florida, capping off their 10th year with 2017 shows in Nebraska, Michigan, Colorado, Oklahoma, and even the United Kingdom.Life in Color Miami is always the biggest Life in Color production of the year. This year LiC switched from its long established location of Hard Rock Stadium, to two new locations right in our back yard. LiC Miami 2017 was held in Wynwood at the RC Cola Plant, and at Mana Wynwood. These locations are about a 6 minute walk from each other down NW 5th Ave. The venue situation made for a wild scene on NW 5th Ave. in Wynwood come Saturday evening.Contrary to popular belief, Life in Color Wynwood was doing more for Wynwood than just making a neon mess. LiC occurred at the perfect time for Wynwood, and Miami as a whole. LiC is giving the most important and impactful Arts and Entertainment Industry of Miami a much needed economical and moral boost during the lull period happening between Art Basel and Miami Music Week. For that, we thank you Life in Color Wynwood.
