They put computers in kids' hands throughout any and all 3rd world and developing countries; from the urban core of Paraguay to the deserts of Australia, and beyond. They even do so right here at home. The Boston Globe reports that the company has officially left the city of Cambridge, where it started its operation. The new Miami headquarters makes much more logistical sense for a company making inroads throughout South America, Central America, and the Caribbean. We have placed a call to their brand new Brickell office and confirmed their operations. We are still waiting to speak to the company's PR department at which time we hope to secure an interview about what attracted the One Laptop Per Child to grow with the Miami tech scene. For now, enjoy the slideshow evidencing what the company does best, help kids around the world join the technological revolution by putting low cost education-oriented computers in their hands.Oye, One Laptop Per Child, welcome to Miami![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
